Recommendations
It is important to bring: Polarized Sun glasses, Hat, Drybag to carry all your things, Sunscreen, and change of clothes.
If you have your own equipment you can bring it, and the price will be readjust.
Some reccomendations for equipment are:
- The best fly rod is a 9ft, 5 weight, medium- fast acion rod (for beginners is more versatile)
- For the fly reel just get a reel that is disc drag reel.
- For the Fly Line you should have a 5 weight, weight-forward, floating line (WF5F). It works specifically for the 5wt rod and it is versatile.
- For the backing you should have 100 feet of 20 pound backing
- For Leaders and Tippet: Get a variety of leaders (3-4-5x) and tippet (4-5-6x). (the smaller the number, the thicker the leader/tippet)
- Net: Make sure you get a rubber or silicon basket.
